I thought Heidi just said in an interview that they don't have a nanny. Honestly, I don't know why there are so many celebrities who are pretending that they don't have nannies when they really do.

The kids are cuties, no doubt. And I dont doubt that Heidi and Seal are great parents. But hmm, 2 kids and 3 adults. I mean really, its not like they have sextuplets. Then I could see hiring a nanny. But can a mother and grandmother not handle 2 kids by their lonesome? I guess it doesnt matter when you've got money.

I agree completely. I have 5 month old twins and I go out with them by myself all the time; it really isn't that difficult. I love though, how some celebrities when they are pregnant say they will never have a nanny, then two months later when the baby is born a nanny is carrying it and feeding it while the mom is doing something else.

in response to those of who you are perplexed as to why heidi, along with two other adults are out with two children: from the glimpse of it, it does seem a bit much, but perhaps she and her mom were just meeting for breakfst, shopping, lunch, keeping in touch, etc... The fact that her mother is there does not necissarly mean that she is there to look after the kids solely, maybe she just came along for the walk? Who knows? But anyway, a toddler can keep you hands tied up and its a handful with just one, so I would understand why Heidi would feel more comftrable stepping out with an nanny. But about her mother's outfit, I don't know- fire the stylist!

I don't so much have a problem with the fact that she has a nanny, that's a personal choice. My problem is the way that celebrities pretend like they don't have a nanny when they really do, or when they try to downplay it by calling it a babysitter. I work as a nanny and I find it so irritating when nannies don't get the recognition and respect that they deserve for the job that they do. I just wish that celebrities would be honest and admit that they do have help. I agree with the original poster, I seem to remember hearing her say not too long ago that they didn't have a nanny.

"I thought Heidi just said in an interview that they don't have a nanny. Honestly, I don't know why there are so many celebrities who are pretending that they don't have nannies when they really do."

Just to comment that, they pretend to be ordinary people and that money doesn't matter. But truth be spoken, they are spoiled, immature and money-driven people. Although, they understand that pretending to be ordinary and having kids is a good thing for their image.
Sadly, I loathe celebs. They are really immature and selfobserved people. Their also crazy names for their children just shows one thing; their kids are just a feather in their hats.

Come on... celebs suxx really - big time!

OMG people, just because you have a nanny, it doesn't mean you don't love your kids. Heidi Klum is obviously a working mom. In order to that, you need childcare. She probably pays this woman a salary to come in m-f or whatever. So there are days where Heidi doesn't work, she's not going to send the woman home or let her sit at home while Heidi takes the two girls out. If she's paying her, she might as well be helping them. Yes, it's true that her and her mom could handle the two kids, but it's ALWAYS nice to have the extra help.

To whomever mention that Heidi has said taht they have read an interview in which Heidi said taht she doesn't have a nanny is probably an old interview. She didnt' have a nanny before Henry was born. But, since his birth she has hired a nanny... she has said that she has two one english speaking and one german speaking so the children will be bilingual. On a personal note my mom hired help for my brother and me (we are a year a part) and my grandmother was always around. We are not rich by any stretch but she said that she didn't want my grandmother to feel like she had help...

In response to the person who said: "..just because you have a nanny doesn't mean you don't love your kids." - No one said that they didn't love their kids because they have a nanny. What was said that they should admit that they have a nanny when they do, and not pretend, because no only is in an insult to the nanny (who has a hard job), but also it's dishonest.

The interview I read was from about a month or two ago. And I never said there was anything wrong with having a nanny. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, I just think a person should be honest about whether or not they have help.

I don't think she has a nanny, I think thats a nursing nurse(or whatever they're called). They are there for a while, but then they go away.
