Paris gets her own line of sunglasses

Parlux Fragrances said it has entered an exclusive worldwide license agreement to develop and market sunglasses under the Paris Hilton name. Following its launch of Paris Hilton fragrances in 2004, the Fort Lauderdale-based fragrance maker and distributor entered into similar agreements with Hilton for watches, handbags, small leather goods and cosmetics. Parlux (NASDAQ: PARL) said it will now offer a complete range of complementary accessories worldwide. Parlux recently entered a distribution agreement with A Tempo Collectors, a Spanish company, to distribute Paris Hilton watches in Europe and Eastern Europe, excluding Russia. "We are very pleased with the continuing progress of Paris Hilton accessories," said Ilia Lekach, Parlux chairman and chief executive officer. "We encountered some initial delays in development, but will commence shipment of handbags and the PH line of fashion watches during this quarter." [BizJournals]
