Joss Stone in Barbados

The Devon born soul singer Joss Stone has made her film debut in her big sister’s university production. Stone’s older sister, Lucy Stoker, who is a media student at Cardiff university asked her little sis to take part in her project. The millionaire singer is featured in a Lidl supermarket car park where she plays the role of a very angry shopper. The producer of the short film, Michael Mintowt-Czyz said: “Joss was down to earth and giggly – it was a bit of a laugh for her.” Ms Stone is credited in the film under her real name, the slightly less glamorous, Jocelyn Stoker in the film that premieres in Cardiff on Wednesday.
