Brendan Fraser is set to star in New Line Cinema and Walden Media's updated version of the classic Jules Verne story, Journey to the Center of the Earth, to be directed by Eric Brevig. This new take on Verne's tale is set in contemporary times and follows teenager Alex Lindenbock who, along with his scientist father, discovers a message hidden in an ancient artifact.
