Vin Diesel sounds a little like Mel Gibson

The latest Hollywood trend appears to be making films in ancient languages. First came Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" in Aramaic. His follow-up is the upcoming "Apocalypto" in Maya. Vin Diesel wants to make a trilogy of the life of Hannibal in Punic, a language that hasn't been spoken for 2,000 years. Diesel tells the April issue of Details that his production company's set up an office in Spain, and that he's spent months retracing Hannibal's route in the Alps. [NJMG]
