The pop princess Britney Spears decided to hire the people behind Madonna's latest album, Confessions on a Dancefloor, to help her compose a new album, in an attempt to reinvent her pop career.
Spears, 24, retired from the show-bizz after she found out she was expecting her first child with her husband, dancer Kevin Federline. The pop princess decided to make a successful comeback, after she gave birth almost two months ago to her baby boy, Sean Preston and regained her strength.
The singer hired writers Bloodshy and Avant and writer-producer Peer Anstrom, the men behind Madonna's latest album, Confessions on a Dancefloor, because she was very impressed by their work.
A close source says: "After hearing Confessions Britney immediately decided she wanted to return to the pop sound that made her a huge star in the beginning.
"She's done the R&B thing and rock chick thing, but her first love has always been pop." [
