New Muppets stamps

These images provided by the U.S. Postal Service show new 37-cent postage stamps featuring Jim Henson's Muppet characters. Henson and his beloved Muppets were unveiled on U.S. postage stamps in Los Angeles, Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005 at the National Academy of the Television Arts & Sciences. The first-day-of-issue dedication ceremony for the Jim Henson: The Man Behind the Muppets commemorative stamp sheet coincides with the 50th anniversary of Henson's most famous Muppet, Kermit the Frog. The 11 stamp pane of 37-cent First-Class stamps is available in North Hollywood, Calif. Wednesday and nationwide Thursday.
