Mariah Carey knows she has overcome her mental problems because she is able to talk freely about her experiences in therapy. The singer was hospitalized in 2001 suffering from extreme exhaustion following a grueling touring and recording schedule. But Carey is delighted her The Emancipation Of Mimi album, which set both awards ceremonies and the charts alight, has silenced those who questioned her sanity. She says, "People have been going to therapy since whatever, since the beginning of time.
