Pam Anderson approves of Jess as Baywatch replacement

With her usual aplomb, good-natured VIP Pamela Anderson has given the thumbs-up to Jessica Simpson as her replacement as lifeguard CJ Parker in the film remake of the old t.v. series, Baywatch. Gossip pages have it that Anderson has given Simpson her endorsement to reprise her famous rolesaying she believes Simpson would do a good job, The still-sexy mother of two also had a fun suggestion for the role of David Hasslehoff's lead character Mitch. Regarding Simpson's ability to handle the role, Anderson is quoted as saying, "Oh my goodness, Jessica sure could." As for the lead man? "Will Ferrell should play David Hasselhoff.
