Brit says "I'm pregnant"

Britney Spears surprised David Letterman today with an unexpected appearance and confirmation on-air that she is pregnant. Britney's publicist and a source at 'The Late Show' confirmed the story. Spears brought her 8-month-old son Sean Preston along with her to the show. Speculation about Spears and her pregnancy has been rampant in the last week; at one point, Hollywood news organizations scrambled when word spread that Spears was even having a press conference in Los Angeles to announce her pregnancy -- a briefing that never happened. Before taping Letterman, Spears was spotted out with Sean shopping at the swank French baby and children's store, Jacadi. Britney, 24, and Kevin Federline, 28, were married in September 2004. One year later, Britney gave birth to Sean. Meanwhile, Federline has a daughter, Kori, 3, and a 21-month-old son Caleb from his previous relationship with Shar Jackson. [TMZ]
