Sorry UK, Snoop isn't coming back

Snoop Dogg has been permanently banned from entering the United Kingdom for life, after a brawl broke out at London's Heathrow Airport in April. The rapper and an entourage of about 30 were on their way to Johannesburg, South Africa from Los Angeles to perform at a music festival when they were involved in a "mini-riot," leaving seven officers with minor injuries and one with a fractured hand. Snoop and five others were arrested (see "Snoop Dogg Arrested In London After Airport Disturbance"). After finding out that the rapper holds a criminal record in the U.S. that includes drug and gun offences, The Home Office decided to state the ban. "The Home Office is taking a tough line on him," a source told The Sunday People UK. "After the foreign criminal's deportation fiasco, the last thing the new Home Secretary needs is a criminal flying in and out at will." Snoop was already banned from flying on British Airways. Offenders can be admitted into the country under special circumstance, but Snoop has no chance of a reprieve. The ban could result in Snoop losing millions in gig and appearance fees from gigs he can now not attend. [BallerStatus]
