New Mary Kate and Ashley line hits Claire's in July

Just in time for the back-to-school shopping season, tween girls will be able to stock up on handbags, belts, watches, necklaces, sunglasses and other accessories from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's Mary-kateandashley label at Claire's in July. The distribution deal is an extension of the cosmetics partnership announced in February between the twins' entertainment and lifestyle company, Dualstar Entertainment Group based in Culver City, Calif., and the Pembroke Pines, Fla., jewelry and accessories specialty retailer. Designed exclusively for Claire's, the accessories will retail from $2.50 for pens and $6.50 for earrings to $10.50 for sunglasses and $24.50 for handbags. A Dualstar spokeswoman said that while CVS is testing Mary-kateandashley brand hair accessories, jewelry and accessories are available only at Claire's at this time. [WWD]
