Seriously leave her alone. She is a normal person. I feel really bad for her- let her live a normal life like she deserves.

If she was a normal person she would have put something on her child feet.. I don't care if she is a celebrity or not that child should have had something on.

I know for a fact that my son refuses to wear socks. If I put them on, he takes them right off. We assume becuase he's not wearing any she is a lazy or bad mom. Give me a break we all know what are children like and dislike. You assume the blanket is to shield him but it is probably to keep him warm. Lighten up.

LET'S FACE IT . . . SHE TREATS HER KID LIKE HE'S ONE OF HER PET DOGS THAT SHE WAS PHOTOGRAPHED CARRYING ALL OVER THE PLACE . . .

The weather is apparently cool enough not just for herself to be dressed warmly but all others captured in this series of photos. My kids hated socks, too, so common sense said that when the whether had me in a sweater the kids went in a **onesie with feet.** At the very least pull the blanket down! The easiest parental tip in the world, "dress your baby like you dress yourself."

I try to put socks on my daughter everytime we go out somewhere, but she always manages to pull them off.

She might do that baby barefoot thing on purpose, to build up his immune system (some people actually believe in that). I wouldn't recommend this and always put booties AND a hat on my son when he was a baby (he's now a teenager) but I've also seen lots of bootless and hatless babies in really cold weather over the years... or babies packed tight and sweating for ages in warm shopping centres etc. I guess some people just don't think when it comes to dressing babies and celebrities are sometimes no different.

Britney is one of those people who need to be told everything. She clearly loves her baby and is probably trying hard to be a good mom but some still manage to do everything wrong !!

I think the only person i feel sorry for is anyone that talks BS about Britney Spears. I think that people that talk crap about her are just jealous and pathetic. So Britney dont listen to anyone.

Britney does not deserve a normal life. What she has is so much more; she doesn't have to worry about money, which in today's world is the largest form of stress and it puts strains on all relationships in your life.

By entering into the entertainment industry she knew she was going to have to forego some privacy issues in return for the millions she would make by taking off most of her clothes and dancing around on screen. I mean come on, everyone knows the score: you get famous; the paparazzi will follow you around. There’s no point in complaining about it afterwards, you made your bed now lie in it.

I think a few pictures here and there and the attention of some of the world's public is an infinitesimally small amount to pay for a bank balance with 7 figures (especially when considering the very little talent this woman actually has)

Also, those people aren't exactly dressed for sub-arctic temperatures now are they? It's very silly to look at such ambiguous features of a photograph and use them to claim someone is a bad mother, you don't know the circumstances (i.e. that baby might have kicked them off, etc.). Pictures of her driving with the baby in her lap, or reports of her changing his nappy in the middle of a posh restaurant...well...those sorts of things speak for themselves. My point is, there's so much proper evidence of her going off the rails where motherhood is concerned, you don't need to pick apart pictures like this to generate more.

Britney could have quietly dissapeared during the past few years if the attention was too much. She is one of many celebs that complain about all the unwanted attention while at the same time starring in their own reality tv show. If you can't stand the heat, get the hell out of the kitchen! I'm am sick of hearing about how hard it is to be a celeb... boo hoo!

You people let your 6 month old baby decide whether or not he wants to wear socks? If he takes them off then put shoes on him. Sometimes mother does know best.

Lets just say....HOLY CRAP! Look at the junk in that shopping cart! Looks like she hasn't gone shopping in years!
There's so much junk food in it!

    WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHo cares what she eats, who cares what she puts on her kid. WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!

My friend sent me this link and I am amazed at the number of people who spend this much energy worrying about her life!

Britney knew what she was getting herself into when she decided she wanted to be an entertainer. All the publicity and no privacy was her choice! But that doesn't mean that she should be hounded for the way that she raises HER child. If all those that are complaining about what she does in her privat life involving her family I would love to see you guys walk in her shoes for at least on day and guarantee that you guys would be just as frustrated as i'm sure she is.

If he is a hot natured baby, she should have put socks and shoes on him. The shoes would have prevented him from getting his socks off. Or, as someone else suggested, an outfit with feet in it.

I won't even get into him not being buckled in that grocery store cart. I hope he doesn't chose that moment to be his first attempt at rolling. I've seen kids roll right out of them. (And not just because it's Britney, any mother should know to buckle her child in)

I think that while I don't necessary approve of all of her choices none of us know what really goes on in her life or what is going on behind the scenes. Performer or not she is entitled to a life and family. If the outside world saw pictures of what goes on in the rest of the worlds family many things would be questioned. Regardless of her learning (like the rest of us to be a parent) you can't question how much she loves her son . You can see it on her face.If all parents were watched and judged through pictures only none of us would be considered good parents . Misunderstanding what is going on is very different than KNOWING the true facts with explanations.

ok, i have a couple things to say!
how do u know its chilly out there? just because she and tht other lady are wearing pants doesnt mean it has to be very chilly. face it guys, its spring. it wouldn't be so cold. im sure sean prestons not going to get sick.
besides, they were indoors. its not like they were outside the whole time. give her some credit. i think brits a great mom. and wen ur a first time mom, u always make mistakes. i know i did. but thats how u learn. admit it guys! no mom is perfect the first time around. brits 'mistakes' seem like a big deal...thts cos of those stupid tabloids making it big. all mothers make mistakes. but about these pics...i doubt it was chilly enough for her son to wear booties. dont think u know everything. leave her in peace.

I hate Britney Spears, and I feel sorry for her son, and honestly, I can't wait until he's 20 and on dateline talking about what a f*cked up childhood he had, but please, have any of you ever made a mistake? Or a bad decision? Or shown lack of judgement? If you have never ever done anything wrong in your entire life, please, go ahead and b*tch about how stupid she is and what a terrible person/mother she is. But, it's not like the kids gonna drop dead because he wasn't wearing socks and wrigled mis feet from underneath the blanket he was swaddled in. Why don't you try having your feet bound and see how much you like it. She is a first time parent, and let's face it, the first one is ALWAYS screwed up, because their parents didn't know any better. Like everything else in life, it takes time and patience to be a good mom. You don't just pop one out and all of a sudden you know everything about having a child and taking care of a baby and so forth. And why are we critisizing Britney for not putting socks on her baby, but we watch in horror at the woman screaming at her distraught childs in line at the supermarket and do nothing but shake our heads and look away?
Give her just a tiny break. How would you like it if every single thing you did, and I mean EVERYTHING was scrutinized and critisized? Do you not mess up more when there's someone breathing down your back just waiting for it to happen, then gleefully shouting "I told you so"?

Forget about the socks - although I agree, he should have something on - she's not wearing her ring.. 0_o..

OK.. Why does EVERY photo of Britney and her baby have to be put under a microscope? God knows what the weather was like; unless you were there yourself, you dont know.
And she may have put socks on him that fell off. Believe me, its possible. I have taken my nephews to stores with no socks on (and yes I was wearing a sweater/jeans).. They started the day with socks, but somewhere along the line, lost them.. She may have forgotten to put spares in the diaper bag, which I too have done, aswell as my mom who has 4 children. People forget sometimes, SO CUT HER SOME SLACK. Not everything she does is perfect..
And if you look for something wrong in every photo of her and Sean out there, you're bound to find something wrong, no matter who the celebrity is.

britney is a wonderful mother she treats her baby better than most celebs could ever. She loves that baby to death, just take a look arround u can rarely find celebs holding their own babies their nanny or some other person is given that reasponsibilty.but u can always see britney with her son I hope that she never changes, SO WHAT SHE HAS HAVE A FEW MISTAKES WHO DOESN'T? MAYBE SOLANGE KNOWELS COULD LEARN FROM HER.
