Eva to file complaint against cop

Not-so-desperate housewife Eva Longoria plans to file a complaint against the Texas traffic cop who ticketed her basketball star beau Tony Parker on Christmas Eve, according to unconfirmed reports. Longoria claimed the officer's behavior was improper when he pulled her and San Antonio Spurs star Parker over for impeding traffic last week. Longoria's publicist could not confirm the report — carried on an entertainment news website yesterday — that the "Desperate Housewives" star was preparing to file a formal complaint with the San Antonio police. Officials at the police department said it had no record of a complaint yesterday. During the confrontation in San Antonio, where they live, police say, Longoria — who is of Mexican ancestry — shouted an expletive at the officer and referred to him as "just a Mexican bike cop." The incident started around 12:45 a.m. last Saturday, when the bicycle-riding cop waved a flashlight at Parker, to motion for him to stop blocking traffic, the police report says. The report says Longoria, 30, and Parker, 23, "began screaming in a verbally abusive and demeaning manner" after the cop pounded on the hood of the car with his palm. "Well, [expletive] you then," reports quoted Longoria as saying to the cop. As the officer was writing Parker a ticket for impeding traffic, Longoria allegedly snarled to her boyfriend: "He's just a Mexican bike cop. He only wants your autograph."
